WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Jesus was subject to the same limitations we experience as humans. He felt pain, rejection, betrayal, hunger, love, joy, acceptance and rejection. Isaiah 53:3 and Hebrews 4:15

For the purpose He came to fulfill, He endured unimaginable suffering:

He felt every punch.

He felt the sting of the slaps.

He felt the tearing pain when His beard was pulled out.

The King of glory felt the pain of being spit on.

He felt the lashes whip across His body, ripping His flesh.

He felt the sharp hooks of the scourge digging into His skin.

He felt the unbearable pain of carrying that cross up the hill.

He felt the chill of a cold, lonely night.

He felt exhaustion.

He felt the horror of the coming pain—and still, He chose to go through it. He endured the process for you and me to be redeemed from eternal destruction.

He felt the rough handling of cruel men.

He felt the nails driven through His hands and feet.

He felt the weight of His body hanging on the nails.

He suffocated to a slow and excruciating death on the cross still with passionate love in His eyes for you and me.

Once the sacrifice of Christ is pondered upon it is unimaginable that one would look away from Him.

His love is stronger than death!

 And now… He asks you:
“Will you marry Me?”
Will you be My beloved, My bride?

It would be foolish to reject this manner of love. Do you know anyone who can love you in this manner? There is none like Him. Don’t waste your time and attention on the lower lovers and all their distractions. Give your heart to Jesus, he will never break it. Give your quality attention to Him and he will beautify your life with His life-giving sight.

This is the love of God to you- Love that cannot be drowned. Will you accept His proposal to be a bride of Christ?

Reflect and act.
