THE INFLUENCE OF SONGS! 

Music has existed long before the human race was created. In the Bible, we read about the heavenly host singing praises to God. In Job 38:4-7, we see that while the earth was being created, the morning stars sang together, and all the angels shouted for joy. Even in Zephaniah 3:17, it is revealed that God Himself sings over us, rejoicing in His love and delight for His people.

Music, as a divine expression, has always been part of God’s creation, reflecting His beauty, power, and love.

Music is a gift meant for worship—its ultimate purpose is to honor and glorify God. Whenever we sing or listen to music, we are actually honoring the one who inspired the song. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we align ourselves with the message or spirit behind the music.

Therefore, it’s important to be mindful of the songs we engage with, as they have the power to influence our hearts, minds, and spirit. Let everything, we sing and listen to reflect our reverence and devotion to God.

Pay close attention to the songs you listen to. Your ears and eyes are portals—gateways through which influences can enter your heart and mind. What you allow through these portals is your choice and your responsibility.

Every song has the potential to shape your thoughts, emotions, your will and spiritual well-being. Choose wisely, knowing that whatever you feed into your spirit will influence your relationship with God and your walk in life.

Music has the ability to permeate the soul, conditioning it to the lyrics, rhythm, and melody. Every song carries information—whether we’re aware of it or not—and this information is often aimed at subtly influencing our belief systems and emotions.

The lyrics convey messages that can shape our thoughts, the rhythm affects our mood, and the melody resonates deeply with our emotions. All of this combined has the potential to influence our actions and perspectives in powerful ways.

Wise up! Guard your mind and heart from songs of crime, immorality and hatred to mention a few. As children of the most high we are to guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it flow the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23. Basically, your life will go in the direction of what you permit into your ears and eyes.

Child of God, guard what enters your gates—especially through the music you listen to. Choose faith-filled songs, for they bring refreshment, healing, restoration, and upliftment to your soul.

Stay in the Word and keep shining for Jesus!
