As natural food is to the natural body so is the living word of God to your soul. Feeding on the word of God will transform, retune, redefine the three dimensions of man (spirit, soul and body) to the state that the Lord God intended it to be. That is the state of great light where darkness cannot reside.
Meditation is thinking, contemplating, brooding and reflecting on a matter. For Christians we meditate in the living word of God not on the problems, not by emptying ourselves to be taken over by another force as new agers teach.
Simply take a verse of scripture and stay on it for a good length of time. For example: I am crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith through the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Ask the Lord questions about the scripture as you go about your day.
Get ready to experience the supernatural power of meditation. The creative power of the word of God shall transform and even create for you what did not exist before.
Stay in the word and keep shining for Jesus as you meditate in the word of God. Psalm 1: 1-3
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers but whose delight is in the law of the lord and who meditates on his Law Day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither whatever they do prospers.”
