CERTAIN ENCOUNTERS ARE NOT POSSIBLE EXCEPT YOU ARE ALONE WITH GOD! 

We live in a very busy and distracting world.  It is full of noise and there is always something competing for our attention. We have families whether immediate or external that may be demanding for attention one way or the other. We also have work or career obligations to fulfill.

These chaotic situations of life make it hard to find a nice quiet time to be still and know that He is God, but with determination it is achievable. In Genesis 32: 24 – 30, Jacob’s time alone led to his generational encounter with God. In his own words he saw God face to face. Peniel, the name of the place of Jacob’s encounter was as a result of him creating time alone. I am using the word CREATE considering the busyness around us, we must not just “find” but rather “create” that special time to be alone with the Lord. When we see Him, we are changed to be just like Him and oh how we need this constant glorious change. 2nd Corinthians 3:18

There are many voices in and around us and by creating time to be alone with God we are able to drown all the other unnecessary, needless and distracting voices with his help. Being alone with God refreshes recharges, rejuvenates and restructures you to be in proper alignment with Him.

It is essential to take time often to appreciate the truth that the voice of God or His face is Paramount above all that man could ever wish for.

Even our Lord Jesus Christ as anointed and popular as he was on earth, created many “alone times” and when he emerged there were miracles and healings everywhere. (John 6: 15, Luke 6:12, mark 1:35). The Lord Jesus is our ultimate example, let us follow His ways. Let us get alone with him to hear His healing voice and see His transforming face.
