The Power of Walking in Love: True Credit in Heaven. Corinthians 13:1-3
No matter how pious you are, how fervently you pray, how generously you give, or how many gifts of the Spirit you possess, if you are not walking in love, it counts for nothing in your heavenly account. Without love, all those good works become empty. You are nothing, and your efforts hold no credit in heaven if your motive is simply to be noticed.
The heart of the matter is this: you must be true to yourself and live to please Jesus, not to impress men. People do not have the power to cast you into hell, nor can they grant you access to heaven. Why, then, should their opinions outweigh the Lord’s?
Live your life as though you are constantly in the very presence of the Lord Jesus, not just under the gaze of men. When you embrace and live out the truth of 1 Corinthians 13, you will not only be pleasing to God, but you will also attract His unlimited favor.
Walking in love fulfills all the laws of the Bible (Romans 13:8). More so, it draws the attention of heaven to your life, opening doors to uncommon favor and blessings.
Today, receive the grace to walk in love daily. Let the Word of God shape your heart as you meditate on scriptures about love. If you are weary of being a “noisy gong” and leading an unprofitable life, there is a simple solution: choose love.
